The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an International Catholic volunteer organization that serves the needy of any religious background free of charge.  It operates in 150 countries on 5 continents with over 800,000 volunteer members. 

In the United States, there are more than 172,000 volunteer members supporting 4,600 conferences.  A conference is the basic unit of organization at its lowest level. 

Volunteer members are shaped, influenced and inspired by the Rule of the Society.  The Rule was designed to provide a frame of reference and a spirituality that is recognized by the term "Vincentian". 

Volunteers visit the homes of people in need.  These appointments are called Home Visits.  During the home visit, Society members complete a needs assessment and provide guidelines for assistance.

Our Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an IRS approved 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  Donations are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
